Rijo International Horse Fair integrates in Paard&Koets... 

Paard&Koets is the world's only trade fair that focuses exclusively on carriage driving enthusiasts. The second edition of Paard&Koets in Ermelo was a huge success. The number of visitors grew approximately 10% to 12500 and more than one hundred exhibitors presented the best and latest products in the field of carriage driving. The visitors came from various countries, from Latvia to France and from America to Sweden.

Attracting foreign visitors will remain a priority of the organization, Paard&Koets also focuses on the growth of supply in authentic carriages. Besides the renowned names who were exhibiting authentic utensils in 2015, such as Saddlery van der Wiel, Cartwright Koenders, Mendyca carriages, Plooij hats and NVTG (Dutch Association of Traditional Utensils), after years of absence also Riny Rutjens is present again. Rutjens has an impressive collection of authentic carriages, of which he prominently showcases the most special ones at Paard&Koets. The past three years Rutjens did this at his own event, the Rijo International Horse Fair. Here were several stands in authentic utensils, which now move together with Rutjens to Ermelo. Organizer Gijs Bartels is enthusiastic about this development: "Riny and I have been good friends for years, and I am pleased that we now also agree businesswise. Through this partnership, we make Paard&Koets much more complete. Only when the Dutch driving sport combines its forces at Paard&Koets, we are able to attract driving lovers from around the world."
