 Your horse – “Hunny” -what is special about her?

PVF Peace Of Mind “Hunny” is a 7 year Old Morgan Mare...“Hunny” is a clever, outgoing, athletic mare that took to the drivingsport naturally. She is a true competitor that loves her job.

 Her merits in the sport?

She would prefer to have a personal assistant with her at all times as she thrives on attention and loves treats! She loves being the center of attention. “Hunny” is the current Morgan Carriage Horse World Champion and won Live Oak International this year. She was given the Hanzi Award from the judges. “Hunny” is the current Reserve National Champion.

Where are your strengths in Drivingsport?

“Hunny” and I excel is the dressage phase. She is a beautiful mover with a consistent temperament and solid basics. Each show the marathon improves and I expect the upward curve in performance for this young mare.

What is important to you in the education and the training of Drivingsport Horses?

I feel it is necessary to start young horses in Drivingsport correctly and slowly. A solid foundation for basics is always the key to timely progression up the levels. This may take a bit more time in the early years of the horses training but this approach will put your further ahead. Fitness for young horses in the drivingsport is also important to develop to insure lack of injuries and a long and healthy career for the equine.

What were your personally biggest sporty success in Drivingsport up to now?

2005 World Champion Individual Gold Medal Catton England, Single Pony

2007 Team Bronze Medal, World Pony Championships Denmark

2009 World Championships Individual Bronze Medal Single Pony in Greven, Germany

2011 World Championships Individual Silver medal Single Pony in Slovenia.

3 Time National Champion Single Pony.
