Horsetransfer in the international Topsport... Bartłomiej Kwiatek without the Young Horse FEI World Champion Bazyli anymore...On the start list of CAI3* Bogusławice (POL) – we could see that next to stallion Bazyli – silesian breed World Champion Young Horses in 2015 and bronze medalist in 2016 is still name Kwiatek – but not Bartłomiej Kwiatek, but Weronika Kwiatek. We asked them about this idea.
DRIVING.PL: Bartek – why is idea about transfering stallion Bazyli? Together you have reached for great success – in 2015 World Champion Title of 6-yo horses and in 2016 bronze medal in 7-yo? Also 2017 you started season together with second place in first 3* competition for Bazyli in Kladruby nad Labem.
Bartłomiej Kwiatek: And this second place was the point of transfering Bazyli to Weronika (laugh). And to be honest – it was our common decision. Decision of the Team – me, my sister and owner of the horse Mr Grzegorz Świątek. I was starting to develop in four in hand driving and this is my goal. Of course singles still be my number one. I have in my stable great stallion Sonet from Ksiaz Stud – 6th individual horse of World Championships 2016 and several younger horses. By the way whole season 2017 is a big preparation for 2018 World Championships in Singles. Bazyli is a great horse with single horse brand. Such talented sport horse must develop constantly as single specialist with the best competitor and horse trainer. And the best that I know so far is my sister Weronika.
DRIVING.PL: Weronika and what you can tell about this horse-transfer? Were you surprised about it?
Weronika Kwiatek: Bartek from some longer time was thinking about driving the team. It is his dream – anyway I gave him back my two future single horses for the team to make it possible. Stallion Imbred and gelding Passat are in his team at the moment and are trained in Ksiaz Stud. We just seat together at the table and with owner of the horse Mr Swiatek and decided that this transfer will be added value for everyone. Personally I am very happy about this situation. I can work with the most titled young driving horse in the world and I think we will be a great Team together. In front of us fist competition with Bazyli – in CAI3* Bogusławice (POL).
